Visolve is capable of transforming the colors on a computer's screen. It is intended for various types of people, including those with color vision deficiency, better known as color blindness. The application is quite simple and mastering its controls can be done without any effort. It doesn't come with too many features, but the little it has to offer can prove to be invaluable to some people.

The application is free and it can be installed in no time. It works on all popular Windows platforms and it doesn't have any special requirements. Also, the application can be launched on both 32 and 64-bit operating systems without any problems.

The user interface is essentially a grabber, which you can use to take snapshots of the screen. You only need to move and resize the window over something you wish to capture and use a hotkey or select an option from the File menu. Once the screenshot is fitted in the window, you can select various options in the Transform menu, to transform the colors from red to green or from blue to yellow.

Besides transforming colors, you can also apply red, green, yellow or blue filters and increase saturation. It is also possible to apply a hatching effect over the captured image.

A particularly useful feature is the possibility of filtering the colors on the screen, through a series of task bar icons. The application places several icons on the task bar, near the system tray, which you can use to apply filters of different colors. If you have trouble distinguishing certain colors, you can apply and tweak a filter, according to your particular problems.

Color blindness won't be an obstacle for you while Visolve is running on your computer.

Pros

You can transform colors and apply color filters, on screenshots or directly on the screen. The application is lightweight, it doesn't get in your way and it doesn't use a significant amount of resources.

Cons

The Visolve toolbar may not work on certain systems.
